Toulouse responds to "Corrupt XBL moderator" video |

"Yes, I've seen the heavily edited video of The Pro," said Toulouse. "He was policing the 10th prestige MW2 modding which results in gold account and console ban." He also called out the one-sidedness of the supposedly incriminating video, saying, "I did enjoy the explanation about the audio being totally off/1 sided cause his 'capture card went crazy' when it's clear it was edited."
Those who have seen the video are now torn, with a faction saying that The Pro was still out of line for even letting the players get to his nerves, thus resulting to him making threats, while others are saying that The Pro did what he had to do.
But for Toulouse, as it is an employee issue, he reiterates the role of the Moderators: "We try to do our job protecting the service dispassionately." Toulouse also explained The Pro's comments about console banning, saying that it was "out of context and referred to modding."
Nonetheless, be that as it may, "While I will speak to him about this tone, the audio is clearly recut to omit the threats and ToU violations the others were saying to him."

Check the unedited video and the comments on youtube, pspg200 posted it about a billion posts down, lol.
If anything after seeing the unedited vid, XBL needs more mods like the pro, did he over react? IMO, no. But it surely didn't help that he even engaged in speaking with such kids. Anyone who has ever engaged one of these spoiled whiny brats on XBL/PSN/PC must know by know that nothing short of muting them will stop the banter. It can become incredibly Sisyphean.

Edited or not, The Pro's arrogance is overwhelming. From what I've read on the XBL forums, they don't understand that people can into a lobby with a jtag completely on accident. YOU CAN FUCKING GET INTO ONE IN A PUBLIC LOBBY (Look at some of Jester's videos). They don't know any technical shit, and they ban on their bias instead of incriminating evidence.
Banning somebodies XBL gamertag because their affiliated with a modding forum is not ok. It goes against that forums ToS for an 3rd party to ban members for posts/affiliation to their site.
I don't care if you they have reason to suspect someone forum a post that was on forums other than the offical xbox.com forums. Two wrongs don't make a right. Breaking somebodies ToS to ban someone that broke your ToS is not acceptable.
What are then planning to accomplish in the long term? They seem to be a bunch of gun-hoe, ban happy, douche bags who have no concept of supply and demand. The supply for 10th prestige hacks will decrease by a tiny bit, while the price skyrockets. The demand for 10th prestige lobbys will become more inelastic, and due to the increased price and rarity, hackers will be encouraged to find new and more efficient ways of hacking.

That is when you just start loosing trust and confidence on the consoles company. Simple, if tats how there employees r, then bye bye Microsoft XBOX 360, I'll move on to another console.
That is another reason why I'm glad I got a PS3 in the beginning. Sorry to hear for XBOX people who have been getting banned un-rightfully.
No, I aint no PS3 fan boy who likes trash talk XBOX, both have there advantages, but it hurts to see people getting ban without a good reason.

Indeed. I'm mostly an Xbox player. If it wasn't for my mouse and keyboard adapter for my 360, I would rebuy the game for my PS3. The PS3 doesn't have any hacking, unlike it's PC and 360 counterparts.
That reminds me... I need to finish Uncharted 2 XD. My PS3 and Wii need some lovin' (I've been playing ME2 and "The Mis Adventures of P.B. Winterbottom." Great game btw.)

The guy who posted the video the other video on Youtube, edited out what was said by the players because they wanted it to look like The Pro was abusing his power.
The Pro had all the right to ban the players. In the unedited video, the players are using mods and cursing at the moderator. They (the players) are winy assed people who violated the rules and got banned. Then they edited the video to remove the evidence because they wanted it to look like they were the victims.

I was once a moderator on a website called PSX Scene (about 5 years ago) so I know the crap that people do.
But, the problem is, even when people get banned for not following the rules, some of them try to get back at you. Like the people who got banned from XBOX Live, now they want to discredit the moderator because he was doing his job.
Some people act like they can do whatever they want to and you're not allowed to stop them.
