Bad news for Lara Croft fans. The DLC for Tomb Raider: Underworld has been delayed due to a "technical issue." It won't be available on Xbox Live today as was originally planned. Says Eidos:

An unexpected technical issue means that Beneath the Ashes will not be available to download on 10th February as planned. We apologize for this delay and we are doing everything we can to bring you this exciting new content for Tomb Raider: Underworld as soon as possible.

The DLC today was supposed to be the first in a two-chapter DLC release. The first chapter, called Beneath the Ashes, will feature a new environment, enemies, and secrets.

The scuttlebutt in the industry is that the DLC was actually part of the original game, but was cut out due to various constraints. Seems kinda unfair that you have to pay for what should have been part of the main game, but more Lara action is more Lara action.
