TMNT arcade game not available everywhere - Image 1In case you are not aware, the 1989 classic arcade video game Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) is already up over at Xbox Live.

This move by Ubisoft is pretty wise as it ties-in very well with the new game and up and coming movie adaptation. The arcade game can be purchased for 400 MS Points.

A little bit of sad news here: the download is not available for all territories. We had such high hopes for that one as Ubisoft specifically mentioned a "worldwide release." If you happen to live in the following places, well, sorry and better luck next time: Australia, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Singapore, and Taiwan.

The new TMNT arcade game was improved with the inclusion of new features like voice-chat support and co-op mode. Players can re-live all of the original seven levels as Raphael, Donatello, Leonardo, and Michelangelo. The size of the download is approximately 44.1 MB.

Lots of people not happy about this! Personally one of my friends and me waited and waited for this to showup on market place so we could purchase it but it never showed. Live is crap in Australia, we're paying for the friken US to get extra content

biggest waste of money

This was the tipping point for me, I ain't renewing my live account when it expires. I was so excited when I heard TMNT was being released as it is the only game on the current arcade that I have fond memories of from childhood. Get home from a week of work interstate amped to play it and I can't find it! AU live members don't get anywhere near the level of service for the price we pay. It is the most frustrating bare bones package and i've had it

Agreed.

Yes, australia does get the raw end of the deal. In everything. It's just ridiculous. Crap Broadband, crap live compared to America, why can't they release it here? It's just ridiculous. I'm doubting whether I renew mine too.
