tiltBoard is here: 360's SIXAXIS now to be mass marketed |

You heard that right. Adam Thole's gone pretty far with his tilt-sensing controller mod for the 360. Back in February, we saw one of his earlier prototypes in action, and come April, things started to pick up for Thole. Other people were starting to notice his work and seeing some opportunity in bringing it mass market. So, getting ahead of the game, Talismoon offered a hand to Thole.
It's now official, with a press release from Talismoon and all, including price and release information. This baby will set you back with an estimated price of US$ 35 and is currently scheduled to start shipping come next week!
For those who need some catching up with this mod-turned-mass-market-accessory, Adam Thole's tiltBoard uses tiltTune technology - a firmware for such tilt-sensing devices. With his mod, you'll be able to play your 360 games by tilting the controller. You'll be required to solder seven wires though to install the tiltBoard though.
Thanks to SephXII for submitting us the news tip!
Now if you need more information of its features, you can click here to view our previous coverage of Thole's creation or you can go directly to his blog via the Read link below.

They should mass produce controllers with the board built inside. That would be better.
Too bad it's limited though, most PS3 games allow some configuration of the tilt sensing but this will not. One setting does not fit all.

The xbox 360 have rumble, use it and shut up, like the ps3 owners, who should use their tilt and shut up! Why can't everybody just sjut up about everything and buy the console they want directly. If you want only tilt with arcade-style games, buy a wii. If you want tilt and graphics, buy a ps3. If you want rumble and graphics, buy an x360, that's all.

halo 2 PC got the average review score of 62 out of 100 from various publications
shadow f*ck got the average review score of 54 out of 100 from various publications
FASA studio made shadow cr*p. Bungie made halo 2 vista version. Rare made perfect dark zero crap a while ago. All 3 companies are subsidiaries of MGS (microsoft gaming studios under gaming division) All of the above 3 developers share all kinds of technologies which can be used to make DirectX 9 and 10 based games (not OpenGL 2.x based). That%u2019s why halo 3, halo 2 vista PC, shadow crap, and perfect dark crap all have very similar graphics qualities (artistic design, visual direction).

With Shadowrun, the trend seems to be no single player + low score. From what I've played of the beta and demo on the Xbox, it's actually a very good game, and deserves well above the average score it gets, because after all, you're supposed to rate a game based on gameplay, not lack of a single player campaign. The various CS games doen't have it, and many of them are some of the highest rated games of all time.
I would however agree that for what you get Shadowrun is too expensive. No single player should equate to at least a $20 cheaper price tag than what it is, but I guess FASA and MS wouldn't agree. Which is why I'll be getting in on the Circuit City deal later today, you get Shadowrun for the PC for $37.99 ($12 off) and get Flight Simulator X for free :)
Oh and actually Bungie gave Hired Gun the job of porting Halo 2 to Vista, Bungie had almost nothing to do with it.

Man: Morning!
Waitress: Morning!
Man: Well, what've you got?
Waitress: Well, there's egg and bacon; egg sausage and bacon; egg and spam; egg bacon and spam; egg bacon sausage and spam; spam bacon sausage and spam; spam egg spam spam bacon and spam; spam sausage spam spam bacon spam tomato and spam;

Wife: Have you got anything without spam?
Waitress: Well, there's spam egg sausage and spam, that's not got much spam in it.
Wife: I don't want ANY spam!
Man: Why can't she have egg bacon spam and sausage?
Wife: THAT'S got spam in it!
Man: Hasn't got as much spam in it as spam egg sausage and spam, has it?
Vikings: Spam spam spam spam... (Crescendo through next few lines...)
Wife: Could you do the egg bacon spam and sausage without the spam then?
Waitress: Urgghh!
Wife: What do you mean 'Urgghh'? I don't like spam!
Vikings: Lovely spam! Wonderful spam!
Waitress: Shut up!

It would be funny if this were to take off and microsoft would start creating their own titlcontrolers for 360.
Because they 'deliver what the consumers want' or something like that ? No one wants blu-ray, thats why they release hd-dvd addons wich, quite frankly, no one wants either.. XD
