MotoGP Season 2006 - Image 1

Today THQ Inc informed us that the next installment in the motorcycle racing phenomenon Moto GP will be coming to the Xbox 360 and PCs in the fall of 2007. Moto GP '07 is supposed to deliver the "next generation racing experience" with an improved race day experience and the complete 2007 MotoGP season that will make the video game just as exciting as the real thing.

Of course, no new MotoGP title would be complete without a set of all-new bikes, tracks, and game modes, along with some of the favorites from previous titles. Moto GP '07 will have enhanced customization options, building on the popular "Extreme mode" that allows players to race on city streets around the world.

The MotoGP series has topped over 1.5 million in sales this year, and as Bob Aniello, senior vice president of worldwide marketing at THQ states, the MotoGP series is "critically acclaimed for pushing the limits of realism and console technology. With MotoGP ‘07, THQ raises the bar yet again for both core gamers and racing enthusiasts." Hopefully THQ will raise the bar with some screenshots and more details on the game soon.

» Best news of the year, and of course Dual shock Pad essential

Oh YESSS, my favorite game on Xbox Live, it will be amazing if they can up the graphics and gameplay as both are already excellent.

This game proberly the best live community and they are always fun to play against, headset required of course.

This game is proberly the best example of why you need a shock/feedback pad as you need to feel the acceleration,br aking and especially the wheelspin coming in and out of bends without the shock it would be just an average game..

» not just another rehash I hope

Lets just hope they sort out the single player game as the 06' effort was poor at best. The AI was awful, real time laptimes would be far better and lets have the AI controlled riders able to crash as easily as we can.... Oh and the real bug bear, please give us the ability to turn off the damn catchup which has wrecked every installment of the game so far.

» Great game

I agree without the feel of vibration through the pad it would lose all of its simulation feel that makes it such a good multiplayer game.

» Great Series

This is a great series. It's one of the many games I wish I didn't have stolen. I'll be happy to wait for this release to replace my MotoGP fix.
