The Secret World new debut trailer

MMO creator Funcom is setting another mission for you to complete, with the revelation of a new heroine off to slay dreadful monsters. I'd have to say this debut trailer for The Secret World is looking like a cross between Parasite Eve (the flames), Silent Hill (the room layout), and Mirror's Edge (the heroine looks like Faith's younger sister).

The Secret World will feature superheroes who will be engaged in a future fight of good vs. evil, in a modern-day world that is wrought with magic, myths, conspiracies and dark horrors. Despite the intense secrecy in  development (this game was originally announced way back in 2007), The Secret World is described to be a game that blends MMO gameplay elements, alternate reality gaming and social networking.

No date is yet set for this PC-Xbox 360 title, but we'll be sure to let you in on more news as soon as we pick up more updates.
