It's been a few days after CoD3 landed, and we're sure most of you guys are now playing through the richly rendered Normandy countryside and cities, and are probably enjoying the game's much-loved 24-man Multiplayer capability. With that said, we now shift our attention to the guys still thinking about getting it. We're helping you folks with your choice by letting you know about what the guys over at Xboxyde were nice enough to share their first 10 minutes of gameplay with the rest of us, with accompanying screenshots. This vid's taken from the Xbox360 version.
First up is the bad news: for the fans who've already shot their way through CoD2 and are expecting a completely new game, this installment gonna feel more like a well-made expansion than a real breakaway from CoD2. The 2nd bit of bad news is that the video features you fighting through war-torn Normandy, France...in authentic French <Insert French military joke here>.
Language barriers aside, the Xboxyde guys were also happy to say that the graphics on this game are a major mark-up, with smooth frame rates and gritty atmosphere aplenty. Comparing it with CoD2 would be like comparing Army regulars with Army Rangers - same skills, but the rangers are just better at everything.
