The Darkness gets a demo date

First, The Darkness gets a release date, and now it gets a demo date. Xbox360 Fanboy reports that the game's official MySpace portal recently revealed when the demo will hit Xbox Live: around the first week of June.

Who knows exactly how much of the game's final code will be reflected by the demo, but the mere mention by Xbox360 Fanboy of the MySpace update that the demo "won't be finished in time" for magazine covers means that it might still be under construction, and that close to the game's release date, it might carry some of the game's final code. But that's speculating.

Other details announced in that update include a preorder bonus from EB/GameStop: an "exclusive 2K Sports Darkling that wields a bat."
