Namco Bandai's Tales series of games is 10 years old this year, and what better way to commemorate 10 years of RPG goodness than with a Special Edition of the latest Tales offering. Dennis Lee, senior marketing manager for Namco Bandai, recently revealed the contents of the Special Edition of Tales of Vesperia, and it's looking to be quite the pleaser.
The Tales of Vesperia Special Edition will come in a Steelbook case that carries a unique cover art from artist Kosuke Fujishima. The actual packaging, however, hides the true treat: a special soundtrack for the Tales series, covering 10 years worth of gaming goodness across 25 tracks.
Here's the breakdown of tracks according to Lee,
Covering some of the seriesÂ’ musical highlights from past and present, the CD contains 25 tracks, with 14 songs from Tales of Vesperia, two from Tales of Phantasia, two from Tales of Destiny, four from Tales of Symphonia and three from Tales of the Abyss.
Sounds good, right? In any event, Tales of Vesperia goes to store shelves on August 26, so check with your local retailers for word of the Special Edition if you want a copy of that soundtrack!
