Taking ages: Age of Conan still under development for the Xbox 360 |

Ó
Here's another console port from the PC that's literally taking ages to get to it. Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures from Funcom was first announced for the Xbox 360 waaaay back in December of 2006. Fast forward to January of 2009, two years later, and where's it at? Still in development.Yep, that's right. It's still not finished, this we found out directly from game director Craig Morrison. Said he, "There is a small dedicated team working on the Xbox platform at the moment." Oh, maybe that's why. There aren't sufficient manpower to expedite the procedure. With Funcom closing players and, consequentially, servers, it probably shouldn't be surprising that they're not allotting more people into the 360 project.
He further stated, "We still plan on having a 360 version of the game at some stage but I'm afraid I can't go into specifics beyond that at the moment... It is a very technical task for a game like ours."
Guess we'll just have to wait some more for this one. Morrison's live text interview can be found via the source link below. Check it out if you may be so interested.
