Street Fighter 2: Hyper Fighting

Yesterday, Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting for the Xbox Live Arcade became the fastest selling downloadable title yet. Since its release on Wednesday August 2, it proves to a degree that the lures of cutting-edge graphics can't completely overpower the urge for old-school retro gaming.

Charles Bellfield, Capcom's VP of marketing, had this to say: "We are elated by the tremendous response Xbox Live users have given Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting as players around the world vie to be on top of the game's numerous leaderboards. It'll be exciting to see who ranks number one on Xbox Live Arcade after the first weekend of gamers playing the greatest arcade title in history."

If you're planning to download this game and play, expect to see a whole lot of Hadokens and Hundred Hand Slaps coming your way. Some people have reported that the game's AI is pretty devious (some prefer using the word "cheap") and the difficulty level is by most accounts arcade accurate, so you guys better start brushing up all your Street Fighter moves. But still, all that stuff just adds to the satisfaction when you finally beat your opponent down to a pulp, right?

Good game bad online experience

theres too many people that drop out in the rank matches and too. and when that doesnt happen its because u cant get into a match because of a timeout. its retarded it gets me frustrated. i hope they make a patch for this.
