"Strange" error found in Xbox 360 CoD: Black Ops |

The error message that suddenly popped up on his screen was this:

'c_rus_spetznaz_body1_g_larmoff' has more than 160 bones (see console for details)
After disrupting his game, he was suddenly brought back to the main menu. Upon attempting to continue on with his campaign, he was then brought back to the very beginning of the mission. No confirmation has been made yet, but it looks like this just might make your game save futile as it may bring you all the way back to the mission's start when you load your game again.
What's been known so far about this bug is that this actually did appear in the previous CoD iteration, Modern Warfare. Not a lot of people have been known to complain about this, too, but believe it, it's there. Check out the video below to have a clearer look at what happened with this glitch.

Playermodels consist of a "polygon meshs" (to which a texture is applied). Each polygon mesh is an individual body part. Still with me? Ok. "Bones" are the hinges that connect all the body parts together. They are used for creating animations easily.
" dogj for xmodel" is engine gibberish. "c_rus_spetznaz_ body1_g_larmoff"" means that it is a mesh of a dismembered arm for the Russian spetznaz model.
"has more than 160 bones (see console for details)" is our a fatal error when a model that has more than 160 bones is loaded into the engine. The engine is like "wow, the fuck is this shit?!?! I'm quiting before something bad happens like a memory leak".
The only way to fix this is with a title update b/c this is obviously a game assist file that needs fixing.

exactly. a simple patch that ether removes the model before the caused error. but as it seems there's a spawning problem, or rendering problem. Generally normal model skeletons even for HD models have that many bones. kinda makes me wonder now if they built the skeleton or had a pre-built from previous games. but to sum it all up it seems the game is trying to spawn something and is crashing because it's buggy.
