Much to the dismay of some Halo: Reach players, the 4GB Xbox 360 S is unable to handle the game's online co-op. While all else is fine and dandy, there's a consumer base that can't take full advantage of a game simply because of hardware inadequacy. Microsoft promised a solution for this problem, but it's been four months and still no update.

The problem arises when attempting to play co-op campaign online. While other Xbox 360 systems are perfectly capable of handling the game mode, the 4GB Xbox 360 is much too small to accommodate the data. As a result, games won't start if there's a 4GB user in the bunch.
So what now?

250GB costs a bit more but it's totally worth it.

The simple solution is to NOT buy the 4GB xbox. Every XBOX 360 "core" system sold without hard drive has been a ripoff since launch.
However, MS promised to fix this, and they need to get on that ASAP.

well I just looked and apparently they changed it so that it no longer says its a Harddrive. but they still sold a ton of them back when it did say it was a 4GB harddrive and thats false advertisement.

Aye, likely they'll have a quote in fine print somewhere clarifying the 'marketing ploy'.
