This week's edition of MCV reveals that there are two new bundles coming the way of Xbox 360 fans, and these will reportedly involve Star Trek and Transformers 2.

Included in the Star Trek bundle would be an Xbox 360 Elite unit, a copy of the Star Trek movie on a Star Trek themed USB stick, 800 MS Points for you to use on the "Star Trek PDLC" and an additional black Wireless Controller.

On the other hand, the Transformers 2 bundle will include an Xbox 360 Elite unit, a copy of the Transformers 2 movie on a Bumblebee-styled USB stick, a copy of Transformers 2: The Game and an additional black Wireless Controller as well.

No pricing was set, nor information was given as to whether or not the Elite units will feature the 120GB or 250GB hard drive. We'll also have to wait for more information on the release date, but the holidays is a safe bet. At least, in the meantime, you have something new to look forward to.

» Bad bundle...

People don't buy 360s for those games. They want Halo 3, Gears, LFD and some RPGs. The extra controller would have been better if they were in the Halo bundles or Gears. Whatever, not my company to control.

» Also...

This is like GoW3 Demo with District 9. They don't really go together.

» Might almost be worth it...

I wonder. Is the movies on the stick HD or not. Ok, so i already have the Blu Ray of the Star Trek, and for a stick to take a FULL Bitrate HD it would have to be 24GB +, but a Rip of it would be about 13-16 GB.

That is the reason MS hasn't adopted Blu Ray yet, right, because people would rather have dlc's and Sticks of the movies (supposedly). If i could get HD DLC content from MS that didn't bite into my data cap, i would seriously consider one of these packs, or if at least the movies are HD.
