Star Ocean: The Last Hope Collector's Edition announced for Europe

Square Enix has some making up to do to Star Ocean fans in Europe. Since Star Ocean: The Last Hope is getting released in the territory months after its February launch in Japan and North America, they've cooked something up to sweeten the deal a little.

Come June 5 , PAL gamers will be able to choose from two different versions of the game. There's the standalone version, and then there's the Limited Collector's Edition that comes in a limited edition box with digistack packaging.

The CE contains a soundtrack CD, a 32-page miniguide from Brady Games, and five character cards featuring "rare artwork not officially released in Europe". The art is actually the anime-style character designs released in Japan.

The suggested price for the CE is GB£ 54.99 (US$ 88 / EUR 63). It will be available in the UK, France, Italy, Spain, Australia, New Zealand, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg.
