Ó

It's official. Europe is getting Final Fantasy XIII in limited collector's edition form.

The CE, which will be available for both the PS3 and Xbox 360 editions, will come with a soundtrack CD containing in-game tracks selected by composer Masashi Hamauzu, hardback artbook, three art prints showing Eidolon artwork, and a "Brand of the l'Cie" decal. And a copy of the game, of course.

All the stuff above will come in a branded presentation box. Square Enix didn't mention any pricing info, but Game.co.uk has it listed for GB£ 59.99. GameStop Italy had it listed for € 79.98. No word on a North American release yet.

I bet they're leaving the complete soundtrack off the CE so they can sell it at a later date.

your joking right? it's usually the US that gets CE games, like uncharted 2 fortune hunter edition for example (i know it was competition but would still have liked the chance)

Who said the US isn't getting a CE? Give it time.

Admittedly, it's not that great of a Collector's Edition compared to some of the ones that have come out recently. Seems like practically every big release is getting some kind of fancy edition these days just to convince people to pay more money.

Its not trust me this year US has been on the lack of CE on some anticipated games. EUR already has a MAG, FF and GOW3 CE and PS3 Bundles. I guess SCEE knows what there gamers what in publishing, this happened last year with PSPGO getting 5 free games, even though i understand things cost a bit more over there but it would be nice if SCEA would do some similiar bundles and offers like other region, there shouldn't be anyway region exclusives anyway kinda ruins the purpose of having a worldwide friendly gaming system.

Compared to the stuff we get left with on the PSN compared to you? we wait months and months to get decent stuff on our store to the point that we create usa psn accounts, buy psn vouchers over the internet.

Region exclusives have been there since the beginning of the PSN if you ever looked at the games you 90% of the time get before us. this is a good turn around for european gamers
