Thanks to Vincent Cook for the heads-up straight from Xbox Live's Major Nelson site. We just learned that Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Double Agent multiplayer demo is now available in the Xbox Live Marketplace. The file size is around 700 MB. Unfortunately, it's not available in Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Singapore or Taiwan. The game features double agent gameplay, upgradable weapons and gadgets, authentic tactics, international espionage, and innovative multiplayer modes -- stuff that Ubisoft and Microsoft are well-known for redefining ever since the previous Splinter Cell titles have been released. If you're one of the lucky ones who get to read this announcement first, get going and download your free multiplayer demo now.
Ubisoft's SCDA website even promises us that the single player demo will follow next week. Sweet!
