scdaThanks to Vincent Cook for the heads-up straight from Xbox Live's Major Nelson site. We just learned that Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Double Agent multiplayer demo is now available in the Xbox Live Marketplace. The file size is around 700 MB. Unfortunately, it's not available in Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Singapore or Taiwan.

The game features double agent gameplay, upgradable weapons and gadgets, authentic tactics, international espionage, and innovative multiplayer modes -- stuff that Ubisoft and Microsoft are well-known for redefining ever since the previous Splinter Cell titles have been released. If you're one of the lucky ones who get to read this announcement first, get going and download your free multiplayer demo now.

Ubisoft's SCDA website even promises us that the single player demo will follow next week. Sweet!

Demo is pretty good actuall except i dont know if its like his clothes or the game engine but his suit looks like plastic and really reflective. MP is okay pretty fun but i jsut hope SP is better since i got a hacked x360 im picking up a backup for 10$ :)

SPDA is alot of fun, I recognized th e new texture the spies got which is odd but neat, its alot of fun how you can figure out the ways to get where ya want, (ex: jumping on random things) merc's i hate, they can't jump and its impossible to find the spies, two things cool is if there is a spy by, the control vibrates, and you can have this lil' airplane thingy that you can fly around and have it 'self destruct', i hope this game is fun offline, online was okay, but it gets old.

idk this demo didn't really do it for me. I only played the co-op level so far, but the spy you play as is way too fast, his suit is way too reflective, and it just doesn't feel like SC. The graphics ain't too hot either

Am I the only one who's annoyed by those damn things that tell you where to jump?

If I was a fan of sneaking around, I would definitely love this game. I like the graphics on 1080i and it runs pretty smoothly for me. I just can't seem to get into this genre...although hitman was a totally different story...
