You know that when you've seen Tom Clancy's name on the pack, you got realism in your hands - or at least real-world plausibility. Same's true with Splinter Cell: Double Agent, a tale of keeping your enemies closer than your friends that was created in part by those whose lives are about keeping your enemies closer than your friends: former special forces operatives, intelligence officers, and ex-undercover agents.Like this guy in this trailer-interview, the consultant to Splinter Cell. He says his name is Woodie Mister. He's worked in special ops, but we're not going to talk about that now, but we're going to talk about how Double Agent's as real as it gets. Because he's a real-life Sam Fisher - and if he wanted us dead, we'd be dead already.
All the tactics of stealth and agility, discrete elimination of personnel (killing quietly), intelligence gathering, special ops and undercover/NOC work are real, says the consultant to the Ubisoft dev team. He's done it before, and he did it all the time. Listen carefully to what he says, 'cause you'll be doing the same things with Fisher. It may just keep you alive long enough. Hey, it kept him alive to consult for this project.
