If you've ever wanted to be Bruce Banner or Jean Grey... Your opportunity has arrived.


It has just now come to our attention that Activision has been holding a nationwide search for voice talents to appear in their upcoming XBox360 release Marvel™: Ultimate Alliance. The lucky winners (one male and one female) will get to be part of the largest Super Hero alliance in comic book history.


Besides appearing in the game, the winners will receive an Xbox 360, a copy of the Marvel: Ultimate Alliance game, a poster signed by Stan Lee, a pack of Marvel: Ultimate Alliance playing cards and a trip to Los Angeles to record their lines and meet the producers.


The auditions, which started in 30 May, run through Saturday, 24 June, so you still have time to get your demo together and submit. Entry forms and audition requirements are available here; registration is required, and you'll need to make sure that you have any "pop-up" blockers deactivated.

I find this a little bit rediculous. Ok, it's nice to have a little contest, but how about a contest that gives us a chance to be more original? There are plenty of professional voice actors our there, I'm sure many of them can do a great job at those roles. Now if you want a contest that involves entry forms, how about a "create your own mutant"? Your character will have at least one cameo in a marvel comic and in the game (with a speaking part). Would your mutant become playable? That's up to the game developers of Marvel UA and Marvel to decide.



And of course you'll win all those prizes that were listed.
