Silicon Knights shows what a Berserker can do in Too Human

There's just something about wielding a sword in each hand, wading right into the thick of battle and tearing the opposition to pieces, right? Apparently Silicon Knights president Denis Dyack thinks so, too, as he has shone the spotlight on the Berserker class in Too Human.

Mr. Dyack pointed out an interesting aspect of the Too Human Berserker class: Baldur's movement and sliding speed tend to increase in direct proportion to the combo level. Swords aren't the only weapons that Baldur can use, though, as Mr. Dyack mentioned that Silicon Knights will give players a taste of gun play and more advanced combat techniques next year.

For a better idea of what Mr. Dyack has discussed, take a look at the "god amongst men" video below:

» I agree

This game doesn't look that interesting. I've read that Microsoft has spent close to $100 million on this game and if this clip is the best they can do then this game studio should be dismantled. The action in this game looks like Devil May Cry, and thats not a compliment. Even the story for the game sounds bad. Hopefully I will be proven wrong.

» Whatever

How many gauntlet style games have you played in the last 2 years? There needs to be more games with 4 player support and charector development. Sure this game isn't Mass Effect or Bioshock but this game can't be DBA (dead before arrival).

Visuals never look good in early builds of the game (take halo 3 for an example). We still have 8 months or more of development, give the game time.

I think this game is going to more be for story than visuals anyways, afterall, it's norse mythology set in the future...

» Anyone...

that has seen some screenshots of the game knows that it looks good and that this is a horrible quality video...

If anything I would complain that the enemies models are too detailed and they look cooler then the actual main character you play...

» I'm looking forward

to seeing some more/better footage. I like the story/environment concept. I'll continue keeping an eye on this one.
