Sidhe finally confirms GripShift for Xbox Live Arcade - Image 1 

After much speculation, Sidhe Interactive has finally issued an official announcement about the PlayStation-branded video game GripShift (PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable) and its scheduled outing on Microsoft's Xbox Live Arcade service.

"Veteran players and newcomers to the game will both find something to love in this definitive version of GripShift. We've added a substantial amount of new content," commented Sidhe Interactive Managing Director Mario Wynands.

Speaking of new content, Sidhe outlined the new features that will become available in the XBLA version of GripShift:
  • Updated graphics
  • Improved controls
  • Additional single and multiplayer content including new Challenge courses and a Deathmatch mode
  • Unlockable achievements
  • TrueSkill Leaderboard functionality
While Sidhe has yet to confirm a concrete release date for the XBLA version of GripShift, fans of the game can expect it to go live before this year ends.
