Shenmue 2 coming to Xbox Live?

Yesterday we had a report saying Jet Set Radio was headed for Xbox live. Now we're hearing rumors that Shenmue 2 is going to be released on the Xbox 360's online service as well.

The image above shows "Project Berkley II" and not Shenmue 2, but fans of the series should recognize "Project Berkley" as the developmental code name of the first Shenmue. Another image shows series protagonist Ryo's disembodied head being used as the game's icon.

This rumor comes again from ImageShack user Xbox360Leaker, who was also the source of the allegedly leaked Jet Set Radio shot.

Fuc*en SEGA, finish the dam game already, i played the first and the second Shenmue, and now i want to know the conclusion to the story. The story was EPIC!!!, so hurry the F*ck up and make the game, let Yu Suzuki make it,I can't believe you guys didn't make the game yet, instead you guys are wasting your time on other games. Make SHENMUE 3 already and stop stalling.

You can already play shenmue 2 with the backwards compatibility of 360.

Go find the game for $5 or less in some bargain bin, then you also get the dvd with all the story from the first game.

I have a copy sitting right here...

Shenmue on xbox was the biggest mistake ever.

Because the market audience for Shenmue was severely decreased when it was released on xbox seeing as most dreamcast fans jumped to the playstation wagon.

That's nonsense. The reason I even got an XBOX in the first place was because of Shenmue II. And I had already played the import.
You're wrong about people jumping to the PS2 also. Most people saw Playstation as the reason for Dreamcast's failure and went to 360. SEGA and Microsoft knew this would happen which is why it became a 360 exclusive.
I've found so many hardcore SEGA fans playing on LIVE there's no doubt where they went.

That's ridiculous. Both SEGA and Microsoft knew that the majority of SEGA players were jumping over to XBOX because they blamed SONY for the end of the Dreamcast.
I've personally met so many SEGA fans on XBOX LIVE that I have no doubt what happened. The only real place to shop Shenmue around is XBOX.

i hope this is true i loved the first 2 games, but i wish they would release shenmue 3 and conclude the story!!!

as said above many people wont play shenmue 2 as they see no point, its a shame as i would buy shenmue 3 in a heartbeat. but i guess we will never find out what happens to ryo
