Project Natal - Image 1This ought to explain why Rare was nowhere to be seen at E3. According to Microsoft's Shane Kim, the Rare team has been busy being "intimately involved" with Project Natal.

Said Kim,

They're doing an awful lot of work, even outside the traditional game space, I would say. Unfortunately I can't go into a lot of detail about that. Rare is alive and well and really having a broader impact on the entire Xbox world than just doing the games they traditionally have in the past.

It better be good. We wanted to catch a new Banjo Kazooie. Maybe they're making it Natal ready, then? We're sure to hear more from them soon -- in the not so distant soon, we hope.

» Conker's BFD!!

Come on ;) Let me see some Conker's Bad Fur Day - Natal Edition!! Man, if they released that game (or an equally vulgar sequel), I will buy this Natal thing on launch day and vanish from the world for a few days after that. Nothing's greater than the Great Mighty Poo
