Shadowrun goes gold: North American release date announced |
Ó
Looks like North America's getting there a wee bit earlier than Europe. Microsoft has just sent out a press wire stating that their much-awaited Shadowrun FPS game for the Xbox 360 console and Windows PC has gone gold, and it will be arriving this May 29, 2007.And while it's not explicitly implied in the news release, we imagine the simultaneous launch is part of the company's effort to promote the linked play advertised between the PC and 360. Slated for a June 1 release in Europe, Shadowrun's US release will retail at US$ 59.99 for the Xbox 360, and US$ 49.99 for Windows Vista.

All hail King lol!!!
did i mention G@Y ^
This game will fail miserably unless they fixed the game for the PC.
On a machine that more then doubles the power of the Xbox360, it ran slower then the Xbox360 version as similair resolutions. The developers pretty much made a port for the PC version.
As long as that is still the case, this game will fail. On the Xbox360 it will live for a while and die out if the PC community doesn't join in. The fact that a computer with the latest and greatest components cant outperform the Xbox360 counterpart will mean it will fail on the PC and therefore will fail in the end.
so if it fails on PC it will inevitably fail on consoles too?
Its that why Halo 2 is still being played by thousands on a daily basis on the console?
