A new batch of screenshots has hit town for the Xbox 360 version of Unreal Tournament 3 by Epic Games. These images put on display the latest installment to one of the world's most recognizable FPS franchises.

The PlayStation 3 version of the title launched several months ago and did relatively well in terms of sales and reviews. The Xbox 360 version may be debuting several months after its counterpart did, but it has a ton of goodies not found in the other version including five exclusive levels, all previously released downloadable content, two new characters and a splitscreen mode.

Click on the screen thumbnails to view them in full.

they had better be creating a patch for the ps3 version on that split screen thing. that is serious BS. its not like spit screen is some ground breaking invention that they just discovered.

I think they were just thinking "We're gunna release it late on the 360, might as well add something the ps3 one doesn't have".

Which is basically true for most games released late. I personally really don't care cause this game isn't exactly as good as I thought it would be. More on the average boring side in my opinion.

i got this game for pc. i dont think it's as bad as everyone says. then again, i got it mostly to make cool mods and such. i just hope they release that extra stuff for pc. i dont see why they wont release an update for ps3 splitscreen. if they dont, thats just cruel and unusual.

» Well...

it's possible they had a big enough pain in the ass getting the game running on one screen, let alone two screens.....

I'm sure if they could do it, it would have been done by now....

Will come Crapy graphix scaling i can assure you most of the visual's will be crap in a split-screen mode. I could never play this on half a screen anyways you would be an easy target. As for the levels they wont be so "exclusive" eventually someone will port them out. Notice they dont say if you can use UTMod on the x360 version.

This is the PS3 section and we had this game for a good while now. Why post it here, when in essence the article has nothing to do with the PS3 and only the 360 :S

Does the 360 have the user created mods or did they not manage to work out a way of doing it?
