Serious Sam 3 details trickle in: no more cartoony look this time |

It's been a while since we heard anything of Croteam's Serious Sam 3 title, but now that we do, we find out that it will not be having the same old classic, cartoony look it was well-known for. This much we can confirm as Croteam themselves made it known to the gaming world via Eurogamer."I can't yet reveal any new features on Serious Sam 3, as it's still too early," said Roman Ribaric of Croteam. "However, I believe Serious Sam fans would want to hear the following two things. First, Serious Sam 3 will play like the original Serious Sam. And second, we'll leave the cartoony look behind."
But what of the quality? Will this iteration be at par with other FPS games out there? To that, he replied, "Simply, if it's good to play, it's good to play." He furthered, "Serious Sam games belong to their own unique fast-paced FPS genre and should be best compared to previous Serious Sam games."
There's still no date or platform set for Serious Sam 3, but PC and Xbox 360 should not be a surprising choice.
