The Scissor Sisters - Image 1 How would you like to see Halo Wars playing to the music of the disco, glam rock, pop band Scissor Sisters? That's definitely something new, and that ought to be something very interesting. Over at Xbox.com, they are currently having the Xbox Big Day Out for 2007, and it sure is proving to be one heck of an "Out Day" in more ways than one.

Apparently, the band, which is renowned as one of the more popular representatives of the New York gay-club scene, loved the Xbox 360 so much that they went ahead and did a special little something for it. The end result would be this special soundtrack as inspired by their fave game trailer. And you guessed it: Halo Wars.

Now, before any of you homophobes lash out and do your bashing, hold your tongues first, 'cause this post ain't meant for that. Rather, take this as a sure sign that the Xbox 360 is definitely made for everyone and anyone, regarding of their personal preferences or orientation. Besides, we all can do with some funk every now and then, right?

If your brows are still furrowed and your masculine ego still bruised, we suggest you listen to the track first before judging. The tune's pretty cool, catchy and fitting, actually.

I just hope they don't get a spot in the game like hubastinks. Personally, I beleive all the bands deriving from the Mtv disease or any other poppy sorta band should stick to what they do best. I also think a games soundtrack plays %85 of how the person is going to feel towards that game. I was ruined by the fact when running through the big war I had to deal with hubastinks awful musical experience. I tryed my best to zoom past it so I could deel without that noise. I will not judge the band before listing to them, but I do beleive that people need to start ignoring anything that derives from Mtv for the sake of all music lovers. It's not the same as it was years ago and needs to be put to rest. OH yea, and stop supporting that American Idle junk.

Music is worse than it has ever been, and sh*tty TV channels that play sh*tty music like MTV and BET are to blame (in part, they're not completely at fault). I also haven't listened to this band, but just by reading their name and looking at the "I'm different, PAY ATTENTION TO ME" clothing, I get this feeling they're just another of those sh*tty pop things that sound awful.

They should stick to what they do best, playing awful music that I can't imagine why people think is good. Stay out of video games, especially Halo.

This is awesome, its nice to see a huge staple of the gay community get involved in the xbox community...helps bring the world closer together one group at a time. Besides everyone can use a little fabulousness in their lives.

I'm not trying to say homosexuals should stay out of video games, just saying sh*tty pop and emo bands should.
