Samurai Warriors 2 Empires packshotKoei Co. Ltd. has just announced that their tactical action game Samurai Warriors 2 Empires has shipped to North American retail stores and is now up for grabs.

For those who don't know, Samurai Warriors 2 Empires is set in feudal Japan and will challenge players to unite all of Japan's 25 regions into one nation under the command of one ruler.

Featuring multi-Musou attacks (with up to four officers), over 400 playable characters, a Create Your Own Warrior mode, 2-player co-op play and tons more, the game will also test your leadership skills as you manage 90 policy cards which you can use to issue military commands and impose political policies.

Rated T by the ESRB, Samurai Warriors 2 Empires is compatible with 720p/1080i/1080p HDTV and is now available at your local retail stores.

The idea of this game is nice, but it's been poorly executed in the last few, no doubt this one will be no different. And it's getting very old, it's the same mediocre game over and over again, can't Koei come up with something new? Or at least make some slight changes to the Samurai Warriors formula so that it doesn't suck? It's like anything EA does
