Sakaguchi confirms Blue Dragon sequel |

Yes folks, weeks before Blue Dragon even hits Japan, Hironobu Sakaguchi has already confirmed in a Famitsu interview that there will be a sequel to this much-awaited game.
Sakaguchi didn't confirm a platform for the sequel but he says that he expects the sequel to appear on the Xbox 360 too. Sakaguchi also shares that Blue Dragon will ship on three DVDs, and that they even had to use compression technology just to make the game fit into three disks. Seems like Blue Dragon is really turning out to be the biggest 360 game ever, even in the literal sense because in its uncompressed form, the game takes up over 30GB of space.
The producer also said that players would probably enjoy 40 to 50 hours of gameplay with Blue Dragon because apparently, he took 35 hours to go through all the game levels...and that's minus all the side quests. Oh, and also, there will be free downloadable content for the game on Xbox Live, but that's about all the details Sakaguchi would give about the game's DLC. All these info, as well as the sequel announcement, were shared in the lengthy Famitsu interview to celebrate Blue Dragon's end of production.
And with that in mind, it looks like the set Japanese release date for Blue Dragon will be pushing through on December 7th. Sadly though, Sakaguchi failed to mention in the interview whether the game will reach U.S. shores. But don't worry though, we'll continue hounding our sources to find out so stay tuned.

hoping the us will get this game by january because I really don't want to wait till june or worse to get it, it's one of the main reason I bought an xbox 360 a week ago!!!!!!
and right now I don't see any good ames on the xbox 360, I have gears of war ( free with my x360 premium with also ghost recon advanced warfighter and arcade 1 for 399$ ) and I bought ninety nine nights ( wich is okay, but samurai warriors 2 was way better ). so err, my ps2 games are better.... so blue dragon is IMPORTANT
and the second'll be on ps3/xbox 360, DAH!
that's why I'll buy my ps3 around mind-to-end 2k7! ( when the bugs are cleared and when MAYBE the price is bettter or at least when the games will be better ( like MGS4
600 bucks for a sequal and mgs?
