Yes, Torchlight has been confirmed for an Xbox 360 release, but will it also be heading for the PS3? Apparently the answer is a big fat no.

Developer Runic Games have confirmed that the console version of the Diablo-like action RPG will be exclusive to Xbox 360.

"No PS3 plans to speak of," revealed Runic boss Travis Baldree on the official Runic forums.

"Microsoft is acting as the publisher on this one," he explained. "And given how much work it was to get one console game done, I'm a little relieved we didn't attempt both platforms at once anyway."

Too bad there's no PS3 release. The changes they've made sound pretty interesting.

unless there is a local or online co-op feature. there is no reason to buy this game, very boring playing solo. PS3 players arent missing much.
