Xbox 360 Pro package - Image 1It looks like October could turn out to be a good time to buy a new Xbox 360. Rumors about new Microsoft Xbox 360 bundles have resurfaced once again, and all these new bundles will allegedly be in stores next month.

According to an Ars Technica mole, the Xbox 360 Pro and Elite packages will be rebundled with two new games: Forza Motorsport 2 and Marvel Ultimate Alliance. Both games will be in one case, just like the Sega GT 2002/Jet Grind Radio Future combo that came with the original Xbox. The Pro package will reportedly be available come October 9, with the Elite coming on October 23.

Rumors about the new core SKU that we posted about back in August have also resurfaced. This particular SKU will reportedly come with five arcade titles -  Boom-Boom Rocket, Pac-man, Uno, Feeding Frenzy and Luxor 2 - on a single disc. This package is rumored to hit shelves at the end of October for US$ 279, the same price as the normal Xbox 360 core SKU.

Remember to keep in mind that these are all just rumors. If they turn out to be true, though, Xbox 360 sales could very well spike next month. Check back here for more updates.

UPDATE: Best Buy now has the Elite bundle with Forza Motorsport 2 and Marvel Ultimate Alliance listed on its website. You can click here to check it out.

65 nm processing unit...

When is the Xbox 360 coming with the 65 nm processing unit? It's the only reason why I haven't bought one yet.

It does seem interesting but I'll wait and see.
