Rumor - Mass Effect taken down from Target's shelves? - Image 1It's that time again to have another jog 'round the old rumor mill. It's been awhile since we last reported on the incident wherein Cooper Lawrence spoke about Electronic Arts' Mass Effect in her interview in Fox News.

Following this incident, there's a certain rumor that retailer Target has plans of taking down the game off from their store shelves.

From our source, we were able to grab some of the lines that pertain to this cited rumor. The lines went, "
they've begun pulling Mass Effect off shelves," and, "the game is actually in stock, but Target employees are not allowed to sell it..."

Talk about the "mass effect". So far, there's been no evidence of this actually happening and no official word from the retailer.  As for the developments of this rumor, we'll keep you posted for more updates as they come.

I hope, for Target's sake, that this is just a rumor. Pulling a ridiculously popular game of your shelves because of someone's mistaken talk can lead to nothing but backlash. The woman recalled her own statement for Christ's sake - Fox is just a pile of crap that refused to run a retraction, instead inviting EA to counter. Fox News (a complete oxymoron, by the way) is a very unprofessional and un-journalistic group of idiots that no one should ever listen to.

» LOL haha

That would be funny if it actually happened. But come on, who actually believes this crap.

» Exactly

I don't go to Target because they suck, but I'm sure if I did ME would be right there on the shelves.

Come on QJ, if you're going to post rumors, at least post a rumor which is *slightly* credible.
