Rumor: iXtreme Firmware v1.1 for the Xbox 360 in the works? |

A couple of days ago, homebrew guru, Commodore4eva (aka C4eva) released the iXtreme Firmware v1.0 for the Xbox 360 console. This new stealth firmware was capable of defeating all current and upcoming Xbox Live detection attempts, and is also capable of booting all original and Stealth Extreme backup Xbox 360/Xbox 1 discs.Now, in case you're in the mood for a possible update, we've just picked up a rumor that iXtreme Firmware 1.1 is already under works. This new update is currently reported to carry a new extra video/PFI check, and is expected to be for Samsung drive owners. Like we said earlier - this is just a rumor, though we'll keep our eyes peeled in case C4eva verifies this info.

Where's the love for the Hitachi owners? We haven't even gotten 1.0 yet, I guess we still don't until 1.1 is out.
The drives are different and the samsung is just easier to manipulate without xbox easily detecting it. The Hitachi has a different way of executing commands.
i was wondering if any1 could tell me how to flash 1.0 - do i flash 5.2 first & then 1.0 or can i go straight to 1.0 from a stock X360 - otherwise, does any1 know of a place where i can get my X360 flashed [i'm in the UK]. thanks
Stock -> ixtreme 1.0 would be easier, as you don't need to enable 0800 mode on Stock consoles. Just flash it.

Ok i just got IXtreme 1.0 on yesterday and now this? why does he keep updating it so fast, just do it right the first time this sucks that I have to keep opening up my console, Damnitt!!!!
News has been out about this for 3 days now, check around be4 you update and stop complaining. It's amazing C4E bothers at all with fools like you *****ing all the time.
u'r lucky we have ppl like C4EVA doing this for us - if it wasn't for him, we'd all have to bow down to microsoft. scratched discs not a problem again - i'm in the UK, so no disc replacement program here.
