Alan Wake - Image 1

Dear old Alan Wake has been sleeping in for far longer than originally expected. Last we heard, Remedy was just putting in the finishing touches on Mr. Wake's eponymous Xbox 360 game. Still, the question remains: how far away is Alan Wake's release? MCV says six months from now.

The UK trade news site reports that the game will be released in late May 2010. With no confirmation, this isn't set in stone, but it's worth nothing that May still slots in with Alan Wake's confirmed Spring 2010 release.

It also looks like Microsoft will be fielding some heavy advertising for Alan Wake. According to MCV's sources, the game will be promoted "in the style of a Hollywood movie," whatever that means.

Right, and beacuse the 360 has no games at the moment, this need to be 360 exclusive?

Just great, ***** around with the PC gamers jut to get some 360 buyers. Everything MS does seems to be just pure BS lately.

Is what that means :)

If you remember the propiganda that was pushed around for Halo2, I'd be expecting that level of coverage.
