Rock Band packshot - Image 1

With November creeping ever closer and armchair warriors of Rock n' Roll busy practicing their chords, notes and beats, it's not hard to get caught up in the pre-release frenzy of Electronic Arts' upcoming hit, Rock Band for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

After all, not only does it allow you to virtually take any role in a rock band that you want, whether it be the high-flying lead guitarist, the note-shredding vocalist, or the mysterious drummer - but it also lets you and three other friends play all at the SAME TIME. Talk about fantasy realization!  And to kick things up a notch, here's the Xbox 360 packshot of the game, in all its full glory.

Looking at the packshot, it definitely looks like all the peripherals necessary for a rockin' good time are all bundled in, which is convenient as you don't have to hunt down every single one for the full experience.

» Wow...

No Way... If They Set Such A High Price On It You Better Not Have To Pay For Crap Like If They Add New Downloadable Songs From The Market Place... But If They Did Set Such A High Price They Are Friggn Retarded...

» yeah

haha it is pretty ridiculous to have to pay so much, its probably more between 100 and 200

by Gino D. - 2007-09-01 07:36
» yep, 200 bucks

there's been no official announcement from EA themselves, but as we've previously reported, amazon's got pre-orders clocked at 200 bucks. that's for either PS3 or 360 version. they cost the same. in amazon, at least.

Welcome to the future of gaming, you can pay a little for the *****ty experience..or you can pay more for the "premium" experience.

Games like this don't help creativity or the gaming industry.

Yeah, It's Almost As Retarded As Capitalizing Every Word In Your Post.

» lol

think about it. you guys are willing to go out and pay around 100 dollars for guitar hero which only comes with a guitar and the game yet you ***** when they set the price at 200 dollars and if it includes everything they say it will have 2 guitars a drum set and a microphone now if you think about it thats not a bad deal at all compared to guitar hero (which is a really good game too)

» duh

The bundle on come with one guitar. idiots.

by thats me. - 2007-09-02 07:14
» well.....

If you have 4 friends that are gonna play this with you then you can all throw in 50 bucks and all play your favorite instruments. I play guitar, my roomate sings, one of our friends is a drummer, and its not to hard to find a guy that wants to play bass. 200 dollars is not that bad if everything comes with it.
