Microsoft Xbox 360 owners in Europe could be in for a nice treat anytime soon. Game maker Q Entertainment has revealed that their Xbox Live Arcade title Rez HD could be out in a matter of days.

Rez HD should ring a bell to those who were privileged enough to own a Sega Dreamcast or a Sony PlayStation 2 in the yesteryears. It's Tetsuya Mizuguchi's shoot 'em up title with a wacky interface and musical mechanics which gave a lot of us a break from gun-toting cliches.

"The game is being prepped and it's just waiting for the green light," said a Q Entertainment representative. "Maybe next week?"

As the name suggests, this version of Rez will come with up-to-date visuals to make it competitive with today's titles. It's set to cost 800 MS Points, so ready up that virtual wallet because this classic title can strike anytime.
