What's It Mean When a Game Has gone GOLD???

Gold

When a game goes gold, it means that it is finished being developed, and is basically ready to distribute.

Yah, no it doesn't

Gone gold means that the development is finished and that its ready to be put to disc, distribution doesn't come until much later
