Well my 360 died about 2 weeks ago But Listen to this



My consol Has a 2005 manufactureing date And they are fixing it for free. And giveing me a one year warenty on the repair.



It took a While for the prepaid shiping box to get here. But once it did, It took 3 days for shiping. And yesterday they receved my 360, Fixed it. And shiped it out this mornig!! The ups tracking number says the delivery date it the 11th.



I cant complain so far about there service!!

Amazon isn't a good place to track sales. And the only reason it's probably ahead of the 360 there is because the Elite is sold out.



We know by the North American NPD figures that the 360 is outselling the PS3 by 2:1. And the Wii is outsell the PS3 by 3:1.

I live in Australia. Sales are good because it only just recently launched. And your talking about less than 2% of the global gaming market. And the 360 is leading the PS3 in market share by 4:1 in Australia.



Quixand, honestly PS3 sales are nothing to brag about. There will probably get better but honestly for a last gen market leader (over 70% market share in the console market) sales are just horrible.

I'm on my 3rd console, and am about to send it back too. This time I will demand a new one. I had my first one over a year. The 2nd and 3rd (refurbs) broke the day I got them.



My problem: how could I switch? I've got so much money in this, and everyone I know is on Live, and no one I know has a PS3... ...and Halo

Yes i own, 2 360s, i premium, and one Elite. My Premium is connected to my 50 inch Grand Wega SXRD, and the Elite is connected to my XBR3.



So in actuality, i have about 6Gs invested in Sony TVs, vs 900 in MS consoles.



I have 3 360 in my house, (One is my roommates) 2 are launch, with zero issues.



So stop trying to justify your PS3 purchase to all of us. Good for you, enjoy your console, and stop trying to spreak useless FUD.

I still don't understand what your trying to prove here. The PS3 is doing quite well for being five months old. When I had a 360 in January '06 I only had one game for it (I was waiting for GeOW and F.E.A.R.). I now have one game for my PS3 as of January (again, I am waiting for Lair and Heavenly Sword). So does that make my experience any different on the PS3? No. Both the 360 and now the PS3 are able to hold my interest with online content until good games come out. As far as exclusives go I think it's fine for Konami and Capcom to expand to all consoles the more players the better :). As long as there are still first party exclusives on both sides it doesn't bother me.

who cares? the units are being replaced, it's not like they are leaving their customers to drown. from what i remember when i sent mine in, it was gone for maybe a week, then back and ready to roll. if my ps3 broke and sony replaced it, what would be the big deal? i wouldn't abandon it and just give up.

Of course PS3 fanboys are here with factually incorrect arguments,just look at the PS3 games line up,lol,nothing to play of any merit,so lets try to bash the superior console,lets critisize failiures as there is nothing else to critisize.

I got my xbox 360 just under an month ago, an no word of a lie it broke, just stopped reading disks from out of the blue, i heard about the "rings of death" and well to tell you the truth i didn't need any more proof that MS just slapped peaces of hardware together and hoped for the best.



i do in fact own a ps2 and will 100% be buying a ps3, I want something that is up to date and not slapped together lol

A casset playa is OBSOLET coz its old gen and replaced by CD. Same with VHS which was replaced by DVD. See the pattern? Wel many things get replacd lik this in order 2 kp up wit advancing technology.



360 STIL HAS CURRENT GEN DVD LOOOL, NO WIFI, NO FLASH MEMORY - ITS ANOTHER DREAMCAST

by the end of october there wont be any good games to buy for the 360. a lot of people say the ps3 has no games but other than gears of war i didnt really enjoy any games for the 360 for more than 4 hrs. 360 has a lot of crappy games but i still love the system. oh yeah, lost planet was really good but it had a lot of slow downs and got boring after a couple hrs. motorstorm for the ps3 is a really good game which i play a lot, resistance is great, i love ps3 oblivion way better than the 360s cause it runs and looks better. the ps3 to me will be # 1 console at the end of this year. reasons- lair,heavenly sword, killzone ps3,uncharted drakes fortune,mgs4,wh ite knight,ninja gaiden,ps3 home and more. all those games i mention are exclusive titles which i must have which has graphics and technology not capable on the 360 which i love also. i have a wii too but only 2 games which are zelda and redsteel which isnt too bad if given a chance . i like zelda a lot but wish they had voice overs instead of text.

So if it broke a month after you got it you could send it in and get the same one back fixed right? One or two weeks without a console and you get it back with a new one year warranty. What's the problem?

im an unbiased gamer who just loves video games, i have games dating back from the nintendo 85 era. i had my first game a nes game back in 1994 and i loved it. i got a super nes in 1995 and i loved it more than the sega which i got a short time after. in 1996 i remember being at my cousins house and his neighbor brought over this grey machine, hooked it up to the tv and put a cd inside. when the picture came up on the screen, i couldnt believe what i was seeing, it was ridge racer. it was a playstation and it was technologically way better than my super nes. that fcoked me up cause donkey kong country wasnt so pretty anymore. i had dreams about owning a ps1 but got it like 6 months later. i loved it. i got a n64 in 97 and loved it also, golden eye 007, hours, months years of fun. my point is this, all these systems i mentioned i still have, they all work fine no problems. ok i blow into my nes cartridges to get them going but the systems are fine. ive never had a broken system til the first xbox, i have them.

the ps3 is a good system and will be the # 1 console to have again. reasons i say that is cause i have all the next gen systems and the next gen poser ones and i can see the xbox 360s limits when im playing a game like lost planet. when fighting certain bosses in lost planet the xbox 360 starts lagging. when im on gears of war online and a grenade is thrown and two a or more guys are shooting,it lags. in a game like perfect dark zero, on the level where you ride the hover craft it lags like crazy. the wiis graphics are for idiots.i still like the wii but ill own not more than 6 games through its life cycle. blu ray is wicked, capable of 50gb. i love that, and i cant wait for killzone ps3 , and all the games that shows what a next gen game should look like.

I love my box 360. The games, GRAW2, GeOW, Forza 2 (just to name a few) are alot of fun. But after 3 months, my xbox 360 broke. I wouldnt be complaining if the warranty replaced it with a new 360, but when MS CS tells me that I will be getting a refurbished one, my heart sank.



I have had many consoles in my day too. Oldest being the Colecovision. Have played with the intellivision too at a neighbours. I've had NES, SNES, PS1 and the PS2. None of them have broken down on me. (I just gave away my PS1 to this new kid in town) I just wish the xbox 360 was just as reliable.
