Ubisoft Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2 - Image 1Ubisoft has given word that a patch for the achievements in the Xbox 360 version of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2 (also available on the PlayStation 3) is in the works. However, there is no word regarding a fix for the online lag and connection problems that seem to be plaguing both versions of the game.

According to Ubisoft UK forum manager ms-kleaneasy, this lack of information is not intentional. She pointed out that the connection problems were discovered much later than the achievement bug and needs more in-depth research on the part of the developers:

It's not about priorities being wrong, its simply that we were aware of the achievement issue before the bank holiday weekend so able to communicate this and learn that they were working on the fix.

The connection issues have not been known for as long and will require more in-depth research to establish what the issue is so at this time I cannot offer the answer you seek but please do not think that means no one is looking, it simply means I personally do not have the answer. But as soon as I do I will tell you, it's as much in my interest for you all to know as it is yours.

At least we know Ubisoft is aware of both problems. Hopefully, they'll have the fix for both the achievements and online matches available to the gaming community soon.

» but game testers cant catch it

because they play on different 360s on different profiles, they wouldnt have played R6V1 on those profiles so it wouldnt be caught, and honestly who cares about 10 gamepoints that you are going to get anyways.
