Psychonauts meets Painkiller in Mindware's new FPS, Dreamkiller

Aspyr Media and Mindware Studios have announced Dreamkiller, a "fast, frantic and mega-bloodbath" FPS title for the Xbox 360 and PC that comes across as a blend of Psychonauts and the studio's own Painkiller: Overdose.

Dreamkiller puts players in the shoes of Alice Drake, a psychologist who has a rather unorthodox approach to therapy: she dives into the minds of troubled patients and takes care of their inner demons by blasting them with her psychic powers and a badass chain gun.

The game features 12 levels of single-player gameplay and numerous multiplayer modes. Players will be able to choose from a host of over-the-top weapons and supernatural abilities. Dreamkiller will blasting its way to retail this fall.
