Project Sylph, the next-gen title from the Silpheed line of shooters, is set hundreds of years into the future - a time when humans and their long-haul space vessels have conquered the galaxy. But all is not well. Adan Freedom Commonwealth, one of the Earth colonies is plotting to split from the others and launches an attack on the Earth army's Delta Savior battalion. This act of war is the beginning of the "100 Day War".

Project Sylph
promises to feature something for everyone: an intense arcade-style shooting experience with over a thousand enemy ships, along with giant mother ships, a compelling story and character elements. Don't you wish you can see and hear what it's going to be like? That's what the trailer is for!

I love how game trailers give 99% of their time to the CG cinemas and 1% to the gameplay.

Having said that, what they do show of the gameplay looks good.
