Pro Evolution Soccer 6 kicks off with three million copies shipped across Europe |
Ó
How does it feel to win the World Cup? Ask Konami. This weekend the company shipped three million copies of Pro Evolution Soccer 6 (for Xbox 360, PS2, and PC-DVD) across Europe to meet consumer demand. Pro Evolution Soccer 6, on its first weekend out, became the the hottest selling game in a number of territories. In fact, the company now lists Pro Evolution Soccer 6 as its best-selling product to date.
Konami estimates hundreds of thousands of PES 6 fans spent the last weekend getting their game on by mastering the host of new new moves and techniques available in the new title. Now if that doesn't come close to the euphoria one gets from winning Cup of Life, we don't know what does.
Pro Evolution Soccer 6 will also be released for the PSP in December and the Nintendo DS in January.

Wow, 3 million copies...
I wonder how many are disappointed 360 owners with many features missing and an online mode that doesn't even work.
We suffer while PS2, PC owners are getting what they paid for, whilst KONAMI roll around in all of our cash.
