So really, what's the score for John Boston? Needless to say, he didn't think the handling of the game in the race does not match up to the real thing. "I've been thrown into a couple of simulators over time, but they're still all very different to a car.
There's no dubt about it. Just the way they behave -- especiallly with the steering side. You really can't feel the weight distribution."
He also says that while racing sims can actually be helpful in preparing potential drivers for real-world driving, it's just not the same because the experiences being offered are just very different. But of course, it's but logical to expect that, right? After all, you can't "reset" and start over if you flip your car on the highway and crash on the side road, running at 120kph.

Absolutely. I played the beta too, and even with FULL driving aids the cars slide of of control at any sharp turn. I am not looking for a sim, but the handling on TDU2 is WAY too touchy to be an arcade racer. I hope they fixed this ins the final game.

The closest we can get is accurate "representations " that deal with hand/foot/eye coordination rather than feel, hell every video game steering wheel I've used wasn't even a 1:1 ratio with the steering.
How the hell do you expect to get an accurate simulation if none of the controls are even close to accurate?

Nope, I rather be happy and having fun than be accurate and spending most of the time pointing into a ditch, thanks very much!
