Pinned up: Battlestations |
Ó
Pin-up girls and wars have a long history together. For those of you not in the know, these "pin-up" girls actually became the favorite "decoration", so to speak, of armies to their warships and planes. This particular art genre began appearing in the army in World War II and continued on 'til the Desert Storm.
Why are we talking about World Wars and pin-ups? Because Eidos' Battlestations: Midway, staying true to being historically-inclined, has recognized such relationship between the two seemingly polar concepts. That is why for this collection of images, you will find not only war planes in action, but also the classic pin-up posters that used to adorn the noseplanes of our fighters. Neat, huh?
Anyway, that's not all that you'll be getting from this post. We also have for you a multiplayer trailer, which you can download right here. Have fun, guys!
