In the recent X06, Eidos Interactive and TT Games set a line-up for the younger Xbox 360 crowd, among which is the next installment of the Lego universe, Bionicle Heroes. It's going to be a fresh new adventure for the Bionicle fans out there, because they get to play their favorite Toa Inika characters in this blast-'em-up game.

The Bionicle series will get an extreme make-over now that it's headed for the 360. The game is to be set in the exotic island of Voya Nui, which is going to be filled with heroes and villains from both the past and present, in one whole free-for-all adventure. There's going to be mountains, jungle, and volcanoes to explore as you barrel through the island to thwart the evil forces of the Piraka.

Here's some screenshots to show you how much of the 360's powerful engine was used to make the Bionicle universe alive. Click them to enlarge.
