Talking to Joystiq, Ubisoft producer for Splinter Cell: Conviction (PC, Xbox 360), Alexander Parizeau, has confirmed that the game will indeed have multiplayer mode and DLC. He further revealed they will be ready to announce more details about it during this summer, along with many other things, we presume.

On the multiplayer bit, we've already heard about this, actually, about a couple of weeks ago when reports got out on the happenings that went on inside Ubisoft's meeting with their investors. Nonetheless, it's great to officially hear the public announcement. "We're going to have multiplayer, but I can't talk about it anymore than that." We'll just have to wait for that summer announcement, then.

With regard the DLC, Parizeau said, "DLC, it's always part of our strategies. We always want to keep the content fresh, so as soon as the team is done with the game we can move on and continue expanding the experience. "

He also went on to talk about the game's evolving characters and their "redefined" notion of stealth. If you want to check out the rest of the interview, just hit on that source link below.

Bullsh*t, you're holding content back on purpose to charge for it later. $5 says Splinter Cell DLC will be available at launch

Damn greedy devs. I guess the only people to blame are the people who buy it tho

Completely agree, man. When I hear sentences like" DLC, it's always part of our strategies", that makes me want to puke.
