Pacman

You may now finally purchase the classic arcade game, Pac-man, on the Xbox Live Arcade. The game will cost 400 Microsoft points like most of the other classic arcade games. Pac-man will include 200 achievement points from a total of 12 achievements. Here is the list of achievements to be completed. They seem like they will be fairly easy.

1. All Ghosts - Eat all ghosts in succession after eating a Power Pellet.
2. Clear Round 5 - Beat the first five rounds.
3. Perfect - Eat all ghosts four times within a stage.
4. Clear Round 21 - Clear round 21.
5. Cherry - Eat a Cherry, Round 1.
6. Strawberry - Eat a Strawberry, Round 2.
7. Orange - Eat a Orange, Round 3 or 4.
8. Apple - Eat a Apple, round 5 or 6.
9. Melon - Eat a Melon, Round 7 or 8.
10. Galboss - Eat a Galboss, Round 9 or 10.
11. Bell - Eat a Bell, Round 11 or 12.
12. Key - Eat a Key, Round 13.

The game is only a little more than 15 megabytes. It wont take you long till you can start chomping those ghosts! Good luck.

# Pacman is awesome!!!Guest 2006-08-10 09:46
@4:

On the PSP, Lumines takes up exactly 200 MB. on the UMD.

Putting on a larger screen with more features + Xbox Live, would make it take up around 500 MB. That is a lot of memory...I hate Lumines anyway...

@9:

I agree with #10.

15 MB is nothing anyway, unless you were cheap and bought the core system.

The Core is a rip off because you still have to buy a $40 memory card. You would be missing out on a $100 HD and a Wireless controller.

Back on topic, Pacman is the best :-)

# It's good to have some of the classicsGuest 2006-08-10 11:55
I bet those people who posted their negative rants are in their early teens. PacMan is the best selling arcade game of all-time. It is so easy to pick up anyone can play. I am glad they are doing some old games and for the price, you can't beat it. No one is forcing you to buy it. I'd be curious to know how many downloads there have been for Frogger, Galaga, and PacMan.

# Called "Arcade" For a REASONwitbyt 2006-08-15 09:33
Isn't it called arcade for a reason?!

I dont think people understand the meaning of "classic"

It doesnt matter if they're 30+ yr old games..they're still great!

Its the fact that Microsoft can do this, you dont see $ony bringing the nostalgic feeling back to everyone that can enjoy them. Only Wii60 Can do that!
