Overlord to get split-screen multiplayer |
Ó
Heads up, Overlord fans! It's time to summon those minions once again and equip them with pumpkin hats, as Codemasters has given word of a new feature that'll be made freely available for the Xbox 360 version of the video game: split-screen multiplayer.Multiplayer will thus get a new mode for those folks who want to play the game with their friends on the couch. According to IGN, Overlord's new mode will provide an option for split-screen play on all existing multiplayer maps. No word has been given on the release date of the downloadable feature, although Codemasters is saying that the new option will be coming "soon."
In the meantime, it seems, you and your minion friend will just have to share while playing others online.

this game..... i had so much hope for it, and it just *****kn DIED halfway thru, all the great things about it in the beginning turn around and bite you in the ass.....
Split-screen mulit-player is so yesterday.
Not if you have a 65" high def and real-life friends. Fragging a friend in the same room is way more fun than the nameless, and often voiceless, opponents over XBL. I think it's great they're adding Split Screen support.
