halo2As early as February 15th, Microsoft announced that they'll be pulling the plug on online support for Halo 2 and all of the other games that appeared on Xbox one. It's now April 10th, so those game will have at least 5 days left before bidding goodbye to online gameplay.

Back then, it was announced that original Xbox games will have until April 15th, at which point, Microsoft will be shutting down support for online gameplay.

On April 14th, Bungie's saying goodbye to Halo 2 with an online battle with the devs, giving the game a well-deserved final farewell. They've yet to post details about this send-off, but we'll be sure to put it up as soon as they do.

One less argument for rapid 360 fanboys. At least with 60GB PS3s you can play most PS2 games and with ALL PS3s you can play PSone games.

There's still nothing to beat Xbox 1 for homebrew even though the scene's dead, so i'm not giving it up yet untill my 360 can at least match it, also i've gone through 3 Ps2 lasers in the last 8 years and i'm still on my first Xbox, so that says something about Sony's supposed quality.

My PS2 was completely legitimate and only ran purchased PS2 titles and DVDs and thanks to Sonys shoddy craftsmanship my "game and movie player" could in fact not play movies and thus died.
The lazer is shit.

i've had my fat ps2 since its came out and i have played it nonstop since then and there has not been any problems at all. well the dvd player is having minor issues now, but that's due to it being 10 years old now and been used so much. it's definitely served its purpose. so don't go knocking a classic, especially when it's still selling to this day. i guess that does say something about "sony's supposed quality."

# oh yeah and,Guest 2010-04-12 08:41
seems like you didn't think before actually writing that seeing as how microsoft is still selling xbox 360's to this day that have the infamous RROD. your little dvd issue was probably a very rare case where as the RROD has a supposed 25-55% failure rate. thats 1/4 or 1/2 xbox's pal. an xbox user IMO should have no right to go around and preach about hardware quality.

But not the way you thinking, my Xbox uses DVD-R's but my first 3 Ps2's used all original games and got my current one done with FMCB soft mod to run copies and still running so far.
