Halo 3 by Bungie Studios for the Xbox 360 - Image 1European Halo 3 gamers, heads up! Microsoft has just announced today that it will be launching the Official European Halo 3 Tournament Sponsored By Samsung.

This event will be the best opportunity for gamers to show off their Halo 3 skills, and be rewarded with awesome prizes at the same time.

Just how good are the goodies loot you'll be getting if you win? So you'd know, you'll be getting exclusive Halo 3 artwork, along with the new Samsung Crystal Design 40" Series 60 FHD TV, and a brand new Xbox 360 Elite to boot.

Here's what you need to do - starting today, February 25: just sign up over at the Xbox Live Dashboard, click on the The Official Halo 3 European Tournament Sponsored By Samsung (yes, the tourney name really is that long) adverts, and then download the exclusive free GamerPic.

Upon registration, just open play runs from March 18 to the 30th. Those who will join will have to perform on the three game modes making up the tourney Xbox Live Playlist - Slayer, King of the Hill, and Oddball.

Come the end of open play, the player to be ranked highest from each European country will be crowned as the Halo 3 National Champion and will be taking home the swell prizes mentioned above.

BTW you have to be 18 or over to particapate. Halo 3 is rated 15 in the uk, or mature in america so why would u have to be 18 to play in the tournament????? wtf is up with that man?
